L’uva Arbosiana
The thin skinned Ploussard (Poulsard) grape makes a faintly colored red wine, more floral than fruity, with little or no tannin and although certainly red, inhabits the soul of a rosé wine. Fermented by carbonic maceration to develop its slightly fruity, playful personality, this wine is ideal in warm weather, along side charcuterie and hors d’oeuvres and served with a bit of a chill. It is meant to be consumed young, in the summer following its vintage.
