Pommard 1er Cru, Clos Micaults, 2006

Pommard 1er Cru, Clos Micaults, 2006

The smallest production for the domaine, the enclosure located just south of the village, and planted in 1954, expresses a delightful range of candied cherries, sweet red fruits and a delicate, feminine texture give it a seduction all its own.

Possessing a candied nose redolent of blackberry , black raspberry, red currant and macerated cherries, it carries a soft, delicate texture on the palate and outstanding equilibrium likening it more to the feminine wines from Volnay.
