From a tiny section of the southern most end of Clos de la Roche, close to Clos Saint Denis, and west of the Route des Grand Crus, from which Jean-Marc produced just 19 cases in 2005. The classiest of the Morey Grand Crus, according to Clive Coates. As with the Les Genavrières, just up slope, the fruit possesses an element of the exotic, a seductive perfume of huckleberry, black cherry and violets balanced with brilliant acidity. Extremely limited availability!

Following the harvest, this small plot was replanted and as a result there will be no more Clos de la Roche from Monts Luisants for at least 5 years.
